What Natural Shed Hairs Look and Feel Like:
Shed hairs have a small, hard bead (this is a root “bulb”) at the end and in the place the hair was released by its follicle from your scalp. It may be your first response to believe this hair has been pulled out by the weight of the growth of the hair extension and the hair caught in the bonds, but this is truly not the case. You have always shed these hairs but you may have just not noticed them.
This is a grown out strand of extension hairs at 3 months. The little white balls on the ends are these hard beads identifying true, natural shed hairs.
